Calday School donates MerseySTEM competition prizes to Radio City 96.7 Mission Christmas Appeal!
AMAZING NEWS! The winners of our MerseySTEM STEM Summer Social Media Competition are generously donating their prizes to the Radio City 96.7 Mission Christmas Appeal!
Calday Grange Grammar School have (an amazing) 53 pupils who stay after school every week to learn robotics and programming with older students mentoring the youngsters. This STEM-sational group are preparing for the First Lego League and are also excited to be a part of our VEX Robotics Challenge!
After winning a plethora of Vex Robotic goodies in our latest big Bang North West competition, Calday Robotics Group have confirmed that they would like to pass on their new fun gadgets to those who are less fortunate.
Not only do they demonstrate a fantastic passion for STEM but they are unbelievably humble and generous too! Team MerseySTEM were privileged to meet them all and we are so proud to hear of their decision to donate their prizes. One word… WOW!
