Real Science

Real science does not just happen in labs – it’s everywhere you look. Being a good scientist is not about having expensive equipment, or even to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the periodic table.

Being a good scientist is about having the right approach to questions and to have a constantly enquiring mind.

We believe that the best way to get young people excited about real science is to get them involved in it. For the Big Bang North West which is being held at Aintree Racecourse on the 8th July we’ve joined up with the Department of Psychology from the University of Liverpool.

Visitors to the Big Bang North West will get the opportunity to take part in some real science that will be published in a science journal.

Come an get involved!
