The day I met a real Spaceman

I met Jon McBride at the Big Bang! I must confess I did get this picture by initially photobombing some school groups until he said would you like one of just us, what a lovely guy!

When we talk about STEM I think we forget how vast the acronym is (a bit like space!), our vision at MerseySTEM is to try and demonstrate all the different strands of Science Technology Engineering and Maths. To show young people it is amazing and can take you to infinity and beyond…
