FACT Film Training for Secondary Teachers
FACT with support from IntoFilm and MovIES are hosting free training sessions for Teaching Staff.
FILM INDUSTRY TEACHERS’ WORKSHOP Tuesday 10 February, 17:30-20:00
This workshop is for any teacher of Film or Media Studies at GCSE or AS/A2. The session will focus on case studies in order to explore ideas for teaching about production, distribution and exhibition in the film industry in the UK, in the context of the local and international film market.
All those attending will have access to useful resources and materials to take away and develop. Specifically, participants will be supported in dealing with ‘industry and institution’ questions relevant to individual exam specifications. This session aims to give those teachers confidence in developing their classroom practice.
There will be a follow up bookable introduced screening to which you can bring your students in order to extend their studies of the film industry (on two separate dates so that we can include more students).
This is a collaboration between MovIES and Into Film.
