Team MerseySTEM: Busy, Busy, Busy…
It’s a crazy week here in STEM House. As well as all the arrangements going ahead for The Big Bang North West, the team are all heading off in different directions to arrange events, sponsorship and tailor-made education days!
This afternoon our Operations Manager is off to St John Plessington on the Wirral to meet with their Assistant Head and other staff from across the STEM Departments. As a group, they’ll be discussing the support available through the STEMNET Programmes along with MerseySTEM events.
The Head of MerseySTEM Engagement is heading to Preston College as they would like to hold a Big Bang Day there. Click here if you’d like to host your own STEM Event in school, we can make it happen!
Our Managing Director has a meeting with The Liverpool LEP on Wednesday about future Robot Days and other collaborations followed by numerous sponsorship meetings for The Big Bang North West and other outreach activities. She will also be attending the Careers Academy Roadshow at the Merseytravel offices on Thursday.
Meanwhile the rest of the team have STEM Clubs to assist and set-up, STEM Week to plan, a STEM Ambassador induction to run at the University of Liverpool Engineering Department and me? Well I’ll be here as always to keep you up-to-date on all of our adventures, notify you of upcoming events and fill you in on all things STEM…
