World Water Day 2015 – Get Involved!
Today is World Water Day, a United Nations initiative to celebrate clean water and bring attention to those who don’t have enough of it.
The theme for World Water Day 2015 is ‘Water and Sustainable Development’. It’s about how water links to all areas we need to consider to create the future we want.
Water is food, equality, energy, industry, urbanization, nature and health.
United Nations have created some fantastic teaching resources to inspire celebrations for World Water Day along with an informative website (superb for lesson plan ideas!)
There’s even a downloadable certificate for all who get involved!
