National Women in Engineering Day takes place on 23 June 2015 and is the brainchild of The Women’s Engineering Society.
WES focuses on the great opportunities for women in engineering. By encouraging girls into engineering careers they aim to increase diversity and inclusion and fill the substantial future job opportunities that have been predicted in this sector.
The idea behind National Women in Engineering Day is to encourage all groups to organise their own events in support of the day and link them together. The NWED website has a plethora of posters, information and resources to get you started. What will your event be?
