Women in STEM: WISE Apprenticeship Scholarship – Apply Now
The Range Rover Evoque WISE scholarship is supporting more young women in the UK to access the opportunity to enjoy the rewards of an engineering career.
This is the third year of an exciting collaboration between Jaguar Land Rover and WISE offering sponsorship to women who are starting a degree course at a UK University or starting an apprenticeship.
Selection Criteria: Apprentice Application
• Applicants need to have permanent residency in the UK
• Anyone undertaking an apprenticeship in the following sectors can apply for a scholarship to support their studies: Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing.
• There must be at least 6 months remaining of the Apprenticeship from the date of the Award – 12 November 2015. – £1000 will be paid for each year remaining
• Applicants need to be available for the interview in the first week of September and the WISE Awards ceremony in London on 12 November 2015
• Referee details need to be provided at the time of the application. They will be contacted if you are shortlisted.
• Expenses – Please contact the office for the travel policy
• The apprentice scholarship winners will receive £1000 per year, a mentor from WISE (with approval of your organisation) and various opportunities to inspire more girls to take on apprenticeships in STEM.
