British Biology Olympiad: Registration Open
Enter the British Biology Olympiad, the national competition that tests the knowledge of biology students aged 16+.
Every school/ college is able to enter two students free of charge, with additional places starting at just £10 each.
Round 1 will take place from 20th – 28th January 2016 and consists of two, one hour multiple choice tests taken online in schools, these may be taken as two, one hour sessions or together as one, two hour session, as convenient to your school. The paper tests the majority of UK specifications and contains a few questions on topics beyond. Top winning students are offered the opportunity of attending an award ceremony in London.
Four finalists will be selected to represent the UK at the 2016 IBO in Vietnam 17th-24th July 2016.
The IBO seeks to challenge students by both theory and practical tests. Some of the top pre-university biology students from 60 countries will be taking part.
