Tim Peake Interview: Adapting to Space, Heaven or Hell?

As a new term begins, everyone is talking about astronaut Tim Peake’s time on the International Space Station.

Major Tim Peake arrived on the International Space Station on the 15th of December 2015, his arrival was highly publicised but we wanted to share this amazing interview he gave three days later on Sky News.

Tim talks about adjusting to life in space, sickness, zero gravity, smells, showers and cups of tea! The live-link also gave him the opportunity to discuss his love of science and wish everyone a happy new year.

Along with space walks, experiments, engineering, maintenance and so much more, one of Tim’s activities will be to tend to the Royal Horticultural Society ‘Space Seeds’. The seeds will be returning to Earth soon for schools in the UK to grow. We’ve requested ours, have you? Click here to find out more…

We’ll be following Tim’s mission and keeping you posted on his adventures… keep your eyes peeled for his somersault towards the end of this clip – impressive, well done Tim! Our homegrown ‘rocketman’ is also excited to see the new Star Wars movie, what an experience to be able to watch it in space! We won’t spoil it for you Tim, we promise.
