With four weeks to go until the Great Science Share, GSS are offering secondary schools and colleges in Greater Manchester the chance to win some fantastic prizes!
Would you like the opportunity to build a car with your class and race it at a Greenpower event? You could win a full Formula 24 Car Kit and CAD software package, sponsored by Siemens. This prize is suitable for pupils in KS3 and above.
To be entered into the prize draw you need to be registered for the Great Science Share, help pupils take part on the 6th July and share this with them via their social media or email.
Also if you register before the 23rd June you’ll be entered into their early prize draw and could win:
- Coach travel for your class to the National Big Bang Fair 2017 – Sponsored by Royal Academy of Engineering
- A hands-on atmospheric experiment workshop with the University of Manchester
If you’ve already registered and are planning your activities you don’t need to do anything else.

Great Science Share Takeover
Wednesday 6th July, 18.00 – 20.00 at the Museum of Science and Industry
Would your students like to take over the Museum of Science and Industry on the 6th July? Your students can be part of this event by hosting a stall and sharing their STEM activities and experiments with an audience of scientists, STEM professionals, and families. To be part of this please register by the 17th June.
