Enter The Technology, Design and Innovation Challenge!

The Manufacturing Technologies Association have launched The Technology, Design and Innovation Challenge (TDI), which aims to help teachers promote the work of their design and technology and engineering students.

The TDI Challenge is free to enter and has four categories for entry (14-19 year olds).

Students can win prizes including an iPad, a GoPro, a Minirig, Drones and more. The winning school in each category will also win £1000 of vouchers to spend on D&T equipment for the classroom.

Many students enter with their existing coursework projects, so it is not necessary to spend a lot of time creating a new project, although projects developed especially for the TDI Challenge are welcome.

Finalists also receive a tour of a modern manufacturing plant and the opportunity to build links with local engineering firms.
