Big Bang @ Birkenhead School – Calling all Cubs and Brownies!
We have fantastic news for Cub & Brownie groups in the area! In conjunction with All About STEM, Birkenhead School Science department are hosting an evening of science, fun and activities and would like to invite cubs and brownies to attend.
During the evening, children can visit different labs and take part in a wide range of activities run on a carousel basis. Investigations will include ‘pops and bangs’, ‘sonic blasts’, ‘giant bubbles’, ‘curios’, ‘unexpected musical instruments’ and more! This fun and interactive session is perfect for Science badge work.
The evening will conclude with a ‘Flash/Bang’ lecture from Mr Mike Hayward, Deputy Headmaster.
The event is free to attend and a light snack will be provided.
The event will run on two dates:
Date : Thursday 2nd March and Wednesday 8th March
Time : 4.45 pm – 7.00pm
Venue : Birkenhead School, 58 Beresford Road, Oxton, Wirral, CH43 2JD
Both evenings will follow the same format and activities so attendees are invited to attend on one of the above dates.
