The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition: The Final!

The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition (formerly the National Science + Engineering Competition) is a national competition for young people to showcase their impressive science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) projects and to reward and recognise their achievements.

The semi-finals for this competition took place at The Big Bang North West 2016 and we had a plethora of prodigious pupil projects! The judges were overwhelmed by the incredible, inspiring and innovative ideas our entrants brought to the fore. In addition to a place in the National Finals at The Big Bang Fair in Birmingham, all entrants had the opportunity to win one of our prestigious sponsor awards.

The National Finals take place in March 2017 and we would like to wish all of our qualifying finalists the best of luck!

If you would like to compete in the 2017/2018 Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Competition, we’re open for entries. You could be showcasing your projects at The Big Bang North West in July 2017! Click here to get in touch and find out more…
