Jaguar Land Rover: ‘Inspiring Young Engineers’ during May Half-Term

The Halewood Education Centre will be hosting a special two-day course aimed at ‘Inspiring Young Engineers’ during the upcoming half-term school holiday in May.

The course – which will be available to students aged between 11-15 years – will be held on Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st May, and will include a guided tour of the Halewood factory and a selection of hands-on activities designed to strengthen team building and engineering skills.

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit specialist areas of the Halewood production process and meet with Jaguar Land Rover apprentices and other engineering staff to find out more about the world of work. Timings will be from 09.00 until 4.00 pm each day.

The cost is £80 per student. Payment (cheque or cash) may be made in advance or brought in on the day, and students will need to bring a packed lunch each day.

There are limited spaces on the course, and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
