Big Bang North West: The Catalyst & Techniquest Glyndŵr Experience!
We are overjoyed to announce that Catalyst & Techniquest Glyndŵr will be joining forces again for The Big Bang North West 2017. Along with numerous activities, they will be bringing mini versions of their STEM-sational Science Centres for you to enjoy!
Catalyst is an interactive science centre with a chemistry focus. There are lots of exciting options when you visit Catalyst. As well as visiting the museum galleries, you can choose from a range of hands on workshops and shows for schools during term time. During the holidays there are interactive events for all the family.

Techniquest Glyndŵr is dedicated to promotion of STEM for people of all ages. Techniquest Glyndŵr has a large selection of hands on activities to engage visitors in scientific principles in exciting ways.
“You can try out our mini Techniquest Glyndŵr science centre at The Big Bang North West, see how much heat you produce with the thermal imaging camera then test yourself with science busking challenges.”
“Techniquest Glyndŵr is happy to be returning to the Big Bang North West for the 2nd year running with Catalyst. Last year we had a great time setting challenges for visitors to the stand. Talking to visitors about how important STEM is for future careers and all of the possibilities it gives young people makes this a great event to be involved in.”
