Volunteers/STEM Ambassadors WANTED: Saturday Science Club OATS
The Saturday Science Club OATS (over age teenage scientists) are looking for additional volunteers to help their club.
The club meets on the second Saturday of every month (not August or September) from 11am until 1pm at Catalyst, Mersey Road, Widnes.
Club members are aged between 14 and 18 years old and all have a strong interest in science and are keen to get involved with practical projects. The club is currently run by 3 STEM ambassadors, who would like to recruit extra help.
The ideal person should be:
• Keen to work with motivated and well behaved young people
• Interested in STEM
• Able to help supervise practical science activities
• Have a good sense of humour!
• Be available 10:30am until 1:30pm on the second Saturday of the month (not August or September)
Although the club runs monthly, it isn’t necessary to attend absolutely all the sessions – other volunteers work around each other attendance is not required every month.
