Mission X: Train like an Astronaut

Mission X: Train like an Astronaut is an international educational challenge, focusing on fitness and nutrition, that encourages students to train like an astronaut.

Teams of primary school-aged students (8-12 years old) learn principles of healthy eating and exercise, compete for points by finishing training modules, and get excited about the world’s future in space and the educational possibilities for their own future.

Students practice scientific reasoning and teamwork whilst participating in hands-on training missions targeting strength, endurance, coordination, balance and spatial awareness. Many of the lessons and activities are linked to the science curriculum and have a clear focus on health and nutrition.
