IEEE UK & Ireland YP Postgraduate STEM Research Symposium
The IEEE Young Professionals UK & Ireland Section’s STEM Symposium is organised in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chester.
28th November 2018 – University of Chester
This FREE 1-day event is an opportunity for early career STEM researchers, especially PGRs (PhD and MPhil), to present their research, receive feedback, and explore the possibilities of turning research to enterprise. Open to research professionals and students across the country and beyond.

Registration is essential, please register your attendance here.
Participants are invited to submit papers, posters and research to enterprise pitches.
You can submit (for paper, poster, and pitch) until 22/11/18 – an abstract of 200 words.
(This does not need to be complete research or one with result. It’s an opportunity to share your research and get feedback.)
Provided you submit an abstract and register by 22nd, you can submit the full draft up to 26th November.
There is an optional Reception Dinner at Abode Chester.
This provides a relaxing environment for meet-and-greet, networking, talks, champagne or beer, and a 3-course meal. You will need to register with a fee to attend the dinner. Include a dinner option on the registration link.
