This year, #TEWEEK18 is showing how engineers are on a mission to make the world a better place.

  • The Big Assembly

This November, the Big Assembly has an engineering spin to help young people take their ideas, passions and dreams and turn them into engineering careers.

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week: Big Assembly is a live video stream to thousands of students across the UK wanting to find out how engineering impacts on the issues they care about, such as saving the environment, animal welfare, staying safe, health and entertainment.

Schools, young people, parents, careers advisors and employers from across the nation are invited at 10.30am, on 7th November 2018 to take part in Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (#TEWEEK18).

  • Tomorrow’s Engineers Energy Quest

Tomorrow’s Engineers Energy Quest is a free schools programme that encourages young people to find out all about sustainable energy and learn about associated engineering careers.

The first part is the Energiser Workshop, an interactive STEM workshop is packed with hands-on activities, careers information and stories from real engineers working in energy. Students will receive their own workbook to capture learning as they explore concepts of energy generation, sustainability and technologies.

Each workshop is:
-open to groups of up to 60 Key Stage 3 students
-facilitated by a STEM expert
-approximately 2.5 hours long but can be adapted to suit your needs
-an opportunity to explores concepts in physics, design & technology and engineering
-supported with all the kit required
