Big Bang North West 2019: Become a Powerhouse with The Nuclear Institute!
We are overjoyed to announce that The Nuclear Institute will be returning to The Big Bang North West 2019.
Visit their stand to create power of your own with their Generation Dynamo! You’ll need a steady hand when you try their glovebox challenge and there’ll be a quiz to test your knowledge too.
“We’ve had a stand at The Big Bang North West for a number of years, it’s always an excellent day and it’s great to share the exciting work the nuclear industry does with the scientists, engineers and mathematicians of the future! Our volunteers at the stand are nuclear professionals, taking time out of their day jobs to share their experience and hopefully inspire the next generation into getting involved in our industry.” – The Nuclear Institute
The Nuclear Institute is the membership organisation and professional body for all who work in the nuclear industry. They maintain the standards of professionalism and help the careers of their members through continued learning, networking and professional registration. The Nuclear Institute offers great networking and professional development opportunities. Holding licences from both the Engineering Council and Science Council, the Nuclear Institute registers Chartered Engineers, Incorporated Engineers, Engineering Technicians and Chartered Scientists.

The NI NW Branch strives to promote the aims of the Nuclear Institute through outreach and support educational activities across the region. The Young Generation Network provides support to young professionals and new entrants to the nuclear industry by offering networking, training and business and personal development opportunities.”
