Enter The Matrix Challenge 2020!
The Matrix Challenge is an exciting free cyber skills competition open to every 11 to 17 year old in the UK.
The competition originally started in Yorkshire, and due to its success in 2018 and 2019, it’s now national!
Stage 1 – The online qualification game. This consists of five cyber mini tasks. Tasks will go live between Monday 20th January and Friday 14th February 2020.
Stage 2 – The top performing North West students will then be selected to attend the North West Semi-Final at Liverpool ACC Convention Centre on 21st March 2020. The semi-final will contain lots of ‘hands-on’ cyber challenges and will be hosted by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit with support from the six police forces across the region.
Stage 3 – The top 3 competitors in each age category (11-14 & 15-17) from the semi-final will then be invited to the national grand final in July where top technology prizes will be up for grabs!
