Enter The Longitude Explorer Prize!

The Longitude Explorer Prize is calling for young people (aged 11-16) to submit their ideas for how Artificial Intelligence can help tackle the issues they care about, based around four themes that help us Live Longer, Live Better, Live Greener, Live Together

Finalists will be supported to transform their idea into reality with mentors, hardware and software – they will also be in with a chance to win £25,000 for their schools or youth group, and individual prizes.

How to get involved:

  • Find out more about the prize and how you can support a team to apply with the Team Champions pack
  • Use these short activity sessions plans as much or as little as you need to help your group learn about A.I. and come up with ideas
  • Apply online by 6pm 14th of February – all you need is an idea!

Interested in applying but want some support getting the young people you work with involved? Get in touch via [email protected], Nesta will aim to connect you with a STEM ambassador who will visit your school to deliver an activity session on the Prize.
