Scientists & Engineers WANTED: Support Tomorrow’s Climate Scientists
The Royal Society Schools Engagement team are looking for scientists and engineers to support a new programme for 2020 called Tomorrow’s Climate Scientists.
There is a need to develop future scientists to help solve global issues relating to climate change. This programme will give students across the UK the opportunity to develop key skills in areas such as experimental science, problem solving and data handling as well as allowing them to demonstrate their creativity and have a voice in the direction of scientific research.
Schools sometimes find it difficult to reach out to academics or industrial partners, especially those schools in rural areas and we are looking for people who could:
• Support local schools face to face
• Support schools in hard to reach areas virtually via Skype sessions with students and teachers
If you would like to get involved please email [email protected]
