Important Announcement: The Big Bang North West 2020
Covid 19: The safety of our schools, exhibitors & team is our priority.
Apologies for the delay in our communications. Please find below a statement drafted with the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
‘I write to you in relation to our Big Bang Fair North West event, which has been scheduled to take place at Exhibition Centre Liverpool on the 7th July 2020.
We are currently in consultations in relation to the postponement of the event. This is a complicated process due to the government advice that the hospitality and tourism sector can potentially reopen from the 4th July 2020.
Unfortunately, this has left us in indeterminate situation and whilst we wish to announce a postponement, we have to await further government guidance before we are protected to do so.
As an All About STEM event, our funding is reinvested to ensure your pupils have the best experiences when they visit. Consequently we simply can’t jeopardise the future of the event by postponing before we are covered by a government mandated period.
We are confident that further guidance will be provided in the next few weeks and I will be in touch with you, once this has been implemented, with a full postponement notice.
Finally, I would like to thank-you for your continued support, investment and assistance in helping us deliver the UK’s leading STEM event to the region.
