Metro Mayor Youth Employment Hubs: Learning & Development Opportunities
Young people are amongst those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of job prospects and access to training, so the Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram is looking to create youth employment hubs and offering learning and development opportunities for young people.
Working with Job Centre Plus and a range of local youth organisations, the Metro Mayor wants to create the hubs to support 16-25 year olds enabling them to access all of the skills and employment support they need in one place.
The hubs, which would be both online and in physical locations, would offer information about jobs and apprenticeships, advice on how they can match their skills to different career choices and provide support around training and development opportunities.
What do you think? You can help!
Complete this short survey with what YOU would like from the new hubs and feel free to share the link too!
