Enter your CREST project in The Big Bang UK Competition!
Do you have a STEMsational CREST Award project?
The Big Bang UK Competition provides opportunities for young people to showcase their STEM projects and be recognised and rewarded for their achievements. CREST and The Big Bang Competition provide an excellent forum for students to discuss, challenge and share ideas.
Competitors enter their projects through online heats for a chance to showcase their work at The Big Bang Competition Finals, where finalists compete for amazing prizes, including coveted titles of GSK UK Young Scientist of the Year and GSK UK Young Engineer of the Year.
Entry into the Competition will be online only for 2020/2021. Entrants will be asked to submit a short video or written report about their project to be assessed by judges using a set judging criteria. A number of projects will then be selected to showcase at the UK Finals, in summer 2021.
There’s plenty of time to plan your project too!
Timeline:
- Online entry opens: early January 2021
- Online entry closes: late March 2021
- Finalists announced: May 2021
- UK Finals: To be confirmed
