Employers & Academic Institutions: Host a Nuffield Research Placement

Nuffield Research Placements are engaging, real-life research projects, where Year 12 students have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution towards the work of a host organisation.

This session is aimed at people from businesses, academic institutions and other relevant stakeholders who would be interested in finding out more about what is involved in hosting a placement student.

We have two short Zoom events available and our area covers Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Thursday 14th January 2021 – 6:30 pm

This brief introduction will explore:

– What does a Nuffield Research Placement involve for a student?

– What’s involved in hosting a placement?

– What are the benefits of getting involved as a placement provider?

– How to apply to be a placement provider

This online event is open to those in Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
