All About STEM: Celebrate Pi Day with Activities & CREST Awards!

Pi Day is celebrated alongside the International Day of Mathematics on March 14th (3/14).

Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.

CREST projects encourage students to work like STEM experts to investigate and explore their own project ideas. Pi Day is the perfect opportunity to choose an accredited activity and celebrate maths with your learners!

As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
