CREST: Gold Awards for 16+
Did you know that during a CREST Gold Award learners hone their investigative skills and employ scientific methods to conduct their own piece of research?
Stretch your 16+ year old students with a long-term, open-ended project!
CREST Gold – The Challenge
Students must complete a project that makes an original contribution to a STEM field of study and submit their findings via the online platform.
No two CREST projects are the same! Students can do different types of projects on any STEM subject.
Resources
CREST have numerous inspirational project ideas available in their resource library.
Their Secondary Getting Started and Gold Student Guides are full of useful hints and tips to help you run CREST with your students.
Students who gain a Gold Award receive a personalised certificate.
CREST Gold can be used by students (16+) to enhance their UCAS personal statements. The award is recognised and respected by universities and employers so it’s also a fantastic addition to a curriculum vitae.
