We Mind The Gap: We Discover (Virtual 16-18)
“We Discover is designed for any young people aged 16 to 18 who have disengaged with education or training – there has been an alarming increase in the number of young people who fit into this category, a trend which the pandemic has exacerbated.”
The programme presents a unique opportunity for those who might currently lack motivation or support to find a path forward and discover new possibilities around them.
Alongside daily sessions and functional skills provision, each young person receives their own personal mentor who provides consistent guidance and encouragement, which extends after the programme finishes.
Places are available if you’re 16-18 and live in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich or Winsford, starting May 17th.
“We invite amazing guest speakers to join us, sharing their skills, stories of resilience and life experiences. Alongside the WeDiscover programme, we’re offering one-off, meaningful workshops to youth and community groups, covering themes such as The Chimp Paradox, Drama Triangle and We Mind The Music.
