Skills in STEM: Webinars
Working in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) is not just about the subjects and the technical aspects, there are a huge range of other jobs that have to be undertaken to support the STEM activities.
In this series of webinars, STEM Ambassadors from a range of industries working in areas such as project management, communications and logistics, for example, will share what they do within the STEM industry and talk about their skills and experiences.
These webinars will take place on Thursday afternoons after school so that individual students with an interest in these topics may attend. The webinars are designed for pupils aged 14-18 and will be delivered using Zoom with safe-guarding settings in place.
All webinars start at 4.30pm and will finish no later than 5.30pm
Thu 11 Nov – Project Management
Thu 18 Nov – Human Resources and People Management
Thu 25 Nov – Intellectual Property and Legal Concerns
Thu 02 Dec – Communications, Marketing and Public Relations
Thu 09 Dec – Logistics
