Calling Year 9 Biology Teachers in Merseyside & Cheshire!
The University of Liverpool is working with a national Vet Network in order to design a project named ‘Vet in a Box’ which would be a resource for Y9 Biology teachers designed to highlight the various veterinary professions for young people.
The box would compile of a 1-2 hour planned lesson which would cover a topic on the curriculum which links to Veterinary Sciences. There would also be resources around the veterinary profession and the journey into becoming a Vet or Veterinary Nurse. Teachers would be able to request these boxes which would be on loan to schools.
The University of Liverpool is asking for Y9 Biology Teachers to get in touch to provide feedback with the view to trial the box once fully developed.
