Host a Nuffield Research Placement: Feedback

The Nuffield Research Placements programme provides engaging, hands-on research projects, where Year 12 students have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution towards the work of a host organisation. Students take part via a well-supervised but independent research collaboration relating to an area of science, quantitative social science, computing, technology, engineering or maths (or a combination).

If you’re thinking of getting involved as a host organisation, there is no better way to discover the benefits of this programme than by taking a look at some fantastic provider feedback!

“I got some great feedback from the students at the end of the placement which was lovely to hear. One of the questions I asked was how they think the experience could be improved and it was unanimous, that only being face to face would have improved it.  So overall, I would say that it was a success. They produced some really good reports.”

“On behalf of our team, I wanted to say thank you for all the support you provided throughout the selection process and the placement, and for your always prompt replies. Thank you also for the opportunity and we hope that the students learnt skills that will be useful to them in their future careers.”
