Secondary CREST Awards
There really is no better time to embed CREST into the secondary curriculum!
CREST Awards offer free-to-download mapping workbooks, which match individual Bronze, Silver and Gold CREST Award projects with each area of the secondary science curricula for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Their project resources are free to download too along with primary and secondary Getting Started Guides.
During the secondary curriculum pilot study, James Allen, Head of Biology at Helston Community College, was one of the teachers involved. Take a look at this short video to discover some of the benefits of embedding CREST Awards into the curriculum, and James has some fantastic top tips too!
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
