Employer Breakfast: Engaging young people in green careers – a priority for all!
Green Careers Week is taking place from 7th – 12th November. An opportunity to showcase the breadth of green career pathways there are.
As part Green Careers Week, STEM Learning is hosting a discussion about the exciting opportunities in ‘green’ careers.
“Co-hosted by our friends at the GLA at their wonderful offices in the East of London – it will be an opportunity to discuss the importance of green skills.”
An invited panel from business and education will lead this panel discussion looking at:
• the breadth of green career opportunities
• the challenges organisations are facing
• what businesses are doing as part of the STEM outreach activities they are delivering to engage young people in all things green
• the support available to help businesses engage with young people
• the experiences of all attending – successes, challenges and questions
Refreshments will be available and there will be an opportunity to network following the session.
