The GCHQ Christmas Challenge! (Ages 11-18)
YES! The GCHQ Christmas Challenge is returning!
On Wednesday the 14th of December the GCHQ Christmas Challenge will return for its second year! Once again the annual Christmas card is packed full of puzzles which have been designed specifically for 11 to 18-year-olds but for 2022, there’s an added twist!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to crack all the puzzles to uncover a hidden festive message.
Secondary schools and colleges can register for a resource pack and packs will be sent on Monday the 12th of December to help you prepare for the Challenge on the 14th.
Resource packs will include:
- A printable version of the Challenge.
Students are also invited to take the challenge home to test their households! - A special good luck video from Director GCHQ, Sir Jeremy Fleming.
- A hints sheet for teachers to help guide students toward the answers.
- Printable certificates for both schools and students.
All About STEM is making it happen across the North West. We work on lots of different projects to bring exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to schools across the region, linking them with business and industry expert volunteers inspiring the next generation of STEM specialists.
