Space Inspirations: Launch!

Buckle up and get ready for blast off because the new Space Inspirations initiative has launched!

“Space Inspirations is an initiative to attract more young people into science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and the space industry. Supporting STEM Ambassadors to deliver successful interactions with young people, inspiring and encouraging the next generation of space professionals.”

Showcase how STEM subjects connect to potential space careers!

Teachers: You can invite a Space Inspirations Ambassador into your classroom!

They offer:

  • Careers in space talks and advice.
  • Help with enrichment activities by bringing ESERO-UK resources to life, supporting during science and space weeks and more.
  • Project mentoring including mentoring for CanSat and Climate Detectives competitions.
  • Working with teachers to integrate space into the teaching of STEM curricula
  • One-off sessions with a group of students using space to enthuse and inspire young people into space careers

If you work or have a background within the space industry, you could inspire young people about potential careers in space travel and exploration!

The Space Inspirations programme is delivered by ESERO UK with support from the UK Space Agency, STEM Ambassadors and The Careers & Enterprise Company.

All About STEM works on lots of exciting STEM projects. As part of the STEM Learning family, we manage the STEM Ambassador Hub in Merseyside, Cheshire and Warrington, working closely with the regional Science Learning Partnerships in Merseyside and Warrington and Cheshire and Wirral. 

We also manage the STEM Enrichment Partnership for the North West which includes STEM Clubs, ESERO UK (Space) and Nuffield Research Placements.
