Delivery Partner: IET Faraday Challenge Days!
We are overjoyed to announce that we are an IET regional delivery partner offering IET Faraday® Challenge Days!
In 2023, The Institution of Engineering and Technology announced a new model for their IET Faraday® Challenge Days programme, working with regional delivery partners to offer IET Faraday® Challenge Days across the UK. After delivering IET Faraday® Challenge Days to our amazing schools throughout 2023/24, we are proud to return for our second year as Regional Delivery Partner for Merseyside, Cheshire and Warrington for 2024/25.
IET Faraday® Challenge Days give students the opportunity to research, design and make
prototype solutions to genuinely tough engineering problems. Teams must race against the clock to solve a real-life engineering problem, putting their engineering and technology knowledge and skills to the test.
The events aim to encourage more young people to study and consider exciting and rewarding careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) by using creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills.
The top teams from across the UK get an all-expenses paid trip to the National Final to compete
for a cash prize of up to £1,000 for their school.
As your regional delivery partner for Merseyside, Cheshire and Warrington, we can’t wait to get started. We’re excited to announce the challenge supporters and schools taking part in the coming weeks!
