IMechE: Virtual Work Experience Programme
The 2024 Institution of Mechanical Engineers Virtual Work Experience programme is now live!
This fantastic programme is on-demand and available until June 2025.
The IMechE Virtual Work Experience Programme is open to students aged 14+ worldwide and features e-learning materials, activities, videos, quizzes and live webinars that provide participants with an insight into the exciting world of mechanical engineering.
The programme features 7 interactive modules:
- What is mechanical engineering?
- Sustainability in mechanical engineering
- Exploring the future of energy: space-based solar power
- The future of transport: automotive engineering
- Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and automation in engineering
- Healthcare, biomedical and sports engineering
- How to become an engineer: routes into the profession
This year IMeche have partnered with Unifrog so learners can take part via their Unifrog account.
