The King’s Trust: Getting Started with Gaming Course
Getting Started with Gaming is a course from The King’s Trust for 16–25-year-olds.
Attendees commit to attending for a full week and from Monday to Thursday they design a game each day in preparation for Friday. On the course’s final day, the young people will take their games to Sony’s office to showcase them to Sony staff.
The course is only a week’s commitment and a fantastic addition to any CV!
The taster session is Wednesday 23rd of October – 12 pm to 2 pm
The course commences on the 28th of October – 10 am to 3.30 pm
Each day the young people will also meet different professionals from the gaming industry.
Monday – Testing / Intro – Entry-Level Perspective
Tuesday – Game Designer Guest
Wednesday – Panel Event, CV / Interview Clinic & Work Experience
Thursday – Marketing Guest
Friday – Celebration Event at Sony – 1 pm
