Royal Institution: 2024 Christmas Lectures
Join Dr Chris on the 29th, 30th and 31st of December for a series of Christmas Lectures from the Royal Institution – they’re all about food!
“Dr Chris van Tulleken will reveal how what we eat can have a massive effect on both our bodies and our brains. He’ll bring the science to life through a series of fact-fueled demos, festive food hacks, special guest appearances and a healthy dose of self-experimentation.
Featuring animal, as well as human guests, this year’s lectures will provide plenty of surprises, shocks and some truly gross moments.”
How is poo important?
What happens when we eat?
What’s the extra organ we didn’t know we had?
Most importantly, you can learn how to improve your health with what you eat and discover which animal doesn’t have a stomach! (How does that work?)
You can find all the answers to these questions and more if you tune in!
Date: 29, 30 & 31 December – BBC Four & iPlayer – 9pm
