CREST Awards: Engage Grants Open for Applications!
Calling all schools and colleges! CREST has opened applications for the next cycle of Engage Grants. Engage funding can help schools run CREST Awards with students who are underrepresented in STEM.
“CREST Awards give young people aged 3–19 the chance to choose their own subject and methodology when completing their hands-on investigation.”
Engage Grant & Engage Simply CREST
You can apply for an Engage Grant or Engage Simply CREST
If you are awarded an Engage Grant you will receive £350 in grant money as well as up to £350 worth of CREST Awards. Engage Simply CREST is a simpler application and successful applicants receive a voucher for £350 worth of CREST Awards. There is no cash grant.
The Engage Grant is money for your school to run CREST Awards, which you can spend on materials, equipment, a field trip, teacher CPD and more!
Engage funding is open for applications from the 7th of January 2025.
The application deadline is 5 pm on Tuesday the 4th of February 2025.
As North West Regional CREST Support Organisation, All About STEM promote CREST Awards across the region and point schools & clubs to the support they need to run this amazing scheme. CREST Awards encourage students to work like scientists, researchers, engineers and designers to investigate and explore their own project ideas.
