Schools: Express your interest for Experience of the Workplace events!

Schools in the Liverpool City Region are invited to attend these experience of the workplace events on innovation in the LCR.

Experience of the Workplace events are organised by All About Futures in partnership with the LCR Careers HubLCR BeMore and funded by UK Government.

This is a fully funded opportunity for state-maintained schools and colleges in the Liverpool City Region. Schools and colleges outside of the Liverpool City Region will not be offered places to attend.

Learners will explore innovation in the Liverpool City Region through a series of engaging workshops with a range of local businesses and employers. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their employability skills and knowledge, preparing them for the world of work. 

Businesses will represent three exciting sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Freeport.

These events will take place at Liverpool Hope University, Eden Park Campus (L16 9JD). Students and an accompanying staff member will be required to attend from 9.15am – 2.45pm.

Dates (subject to availability):

Monday 10th March (Year 8/9) – LIMITED 
Tuesday 11th March (Year 12/13) – LIMITED
Wednesday 12th March (Year 10/11) – Spaces Available
Monday 24th March (Year 8 – 10) – LIMITED
Tuesday 25th March (Year 10/11) – Spaces Available
Wednesday 26th March (Year 8-9) – FULLY BOOKED

This is a great opportunity for students who will benefit from exploring careers and widening their networks!

Please note: these experience of the workplace events are only open to students up to age 18 (or 24, where there is an EHCP).
