International Women’s Day: Digital & Printable Resources
Celebrate International Women’s Day in the lead up to the 8th of March with these fantastic resources!
This year’s theme is Accelerate Action: “Focusing on the need to Accelerate Action emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality.” – IWD

Here are our recommended activities and printables that are perfect for home or school:
- The Amazing Apprenticeships team has three digital flashcard sets: The Apprenticeships A-Z & Women in Work A-Z Volume 1 & 2. SEND apprenticeship case studies are also included.
- You can access the official International Women’s Day resources here. There are colouring sheets, selfie cards, videos, children’s activity packs, puzzles and more!
- Compound Interest has produced an awesome set of Women in Chemistry cards. They include women from history and women currently working in the field.
- Women in STEM Posters: We found two sensational sets, one here from Nevertheless (with accompanying podcast) and the other here from Energy.gov.
- Darcy & Brian: These wonderful Women in STEM colouring and writing pages are perfect for primary children and a brilliant way to start some in-class research on these phenomenal innovators. (Newsletter sign-up required for download.)
- Teachstarter have a phenomenal collection of free printable resources including role model colouring sheets, activity sets and more.
- Employers, Community Groups and Schools can download official IWD2025 resources here. There’s everything from pledge cards and social assets to banners and display materials.
