All About STEM RESOURCE
Airbus Work Experience & Apprenticeship Opportunities
The Airbus Work Experience programme is a new programme aimed at school and college students. It has been developed with the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) as part of the Industrial Cadets scheme.
The programme is designed to introduce young people to the workplace, develop personal skills and raise careers awareness; hence it includes employability and presentation skills. Pupils will be encouraged to complete certain tasks; collate information; spend time in a chosen department; and complete the programme by preparing and participating in a presentation to invited guests. On completion the pupils will achieve and be awarded with the Industrial Cadets Silver Award at their ‘graduation’ on the final day of their placement.
Closing date for applications: 6 December 2015
