STEM Club Champions
All About STEM has been enlisted by STEM Learning as one of twenty two STEM Club Champions across England to help deliver STEM Club support in secondary schools.
Through the STEM Clubs Champions programme, we will be reaching out to all state-maintained secondary schools in Merseyside, West Lancashire, Warrington, Cheshire West and Chester to sustain and grow their existing STEM Clubs, as well as offering additional support to schools looking to start new STEM Clubs.
During the course of the STEM Clubs Champions project, All About STEM will be hosting regular STEM Club workshops and teacher networking events, as well as providing regular STEM Clubs communications via digital newsletters, online content and social media.
STEM Club Ideas and Resources
The News Pages and Resources section of the All About STEM website are full of project, competition, event and funding ideas for your clubs and there is a wealth of resources on the STEM Learning STEM Clubs pages.
CREST Awards are brilliant for club settings and entering the Big Bang Competition is a fantastic way to get students really engaged with project work in your club. Involvement in the Unilever Bright Futures programme also provides a perfect focus for club members. All About STEM manages each of these programmes in the North West so for more information about any of them, please get in touch.
STEM Clubs and Careers
Engaging STEM Ambassador support for your club is a great way of bringing in some real-world context to activities, helping students to develop their careers awareness and aspiration. It’s also a perfect opportunity for your school to showcase its achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks!
STEM Club Champions Workshops
Details of current workshops are available on our Events Page. If no dates are available, or the current workshop titles don’t suit your needs, you can add your details to our Expression of Interest list and we’ll be in touch as soon as new dates and different titles are released.
