EVENT: BBC WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY DAY
WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY – NETWORKING & DEVELOPMENT DAY

The BBC are offering a not-to-be-missed opportunity to visit MediaCityUK, Salford and learn more about the different applications of technology used.
This event is open to women who are already working in technology – or recent female graduates with a relevant degree (for example computer science).
Event Details
During the day you will get the opportunity to:
- Visit the Blue Room – a media tech demo lab which showcases the existing and emerging technologies shaping the future of digital media
- Hear more about the various applications of tech at the BBC through a series of mini masterclasses
- Participate in a Think Tank – hosted by BBC Breakfast’s Steph McGovern – and share your thoughts on the importance of gender balance in the workplace
- Enjoy an expert development workshop which focuses on personal branding, self-belief and how best to sell your skills, experience and knowledge in interviews
- Hear from inspirational speakers – including Kate Russell , Tech Journalist and BBC Click presenter
- Learn more about the range of rewarding and interesting career opportunities for top female tech talent in BBC Future Media
