UK Space Agency Grants for Educational Activities

The UK Space Agency is making in the region of £100k available for education activities related to its space exploration programmes; Aurora (robotic exploration of Mars) and ELIPS (microgravity research).

The space exploration programmes provide a range of opportunities and contexts for inspiring learning – from Mars missions to Antarctic research. The objectives of the education programme are:

  • encourage children to take up and excel at STEM subjects
  • raise awareness of careers in space-related industries and research
  • raise wider awareness of the UK’s space exploration programme

New projects are welcomed which make the most of the diverse facilities, experiments and projects in these programmes to deliver effective education.

The closing date is midnight 7th July 2015.
