‘Furthering Futures’ Advanced Apprenticeship Taster Programme

Jaguar Land Rover believe that recruiting the brightest minds is key to succeeding in the rapidly changing global business environment.
‘Only 9% of engineers in the UK automotive industry are female. While attracting talent today is more competitive than ever, things are changing for the better.’

‘We are tackling the attitude that engineering is a male-dominated industry head-on by inspiring young people to explore the next generation of exciting career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and maths.’

The ‘Furthering Futures’ career immersion programme has been designed for talented female STEM GCSE students who are interested in Jaguar Land Rover’s Advanced Apprentice programme and would like to learn more about the opportunities and application process before they apply. The programme will be a mix of activities, including a full factory tour of the Halewood production process, empowering talks, interactive sessions and career advice from the Halewood HR team. There will also be an opportunity to talk to Jaguar Land Rover female engineers and apprentices.

The ‘Furthering Futures’ course will take place on Thursday 31 October from 9.30am to 4pm and will be based in the Jaguar Land Rover Education Centre in Halewood. Participants will need to arrange their own transport to and from the plant.

Interested students who meet the recruitment criteria* for the programme can click here to apply for a place.

DATE EXTENDED: All application forms must be submitted by 4pm on Monday 14 October.
